Wegmans Meals 2go - Elmira

Every year, my family and I go to Wegmans to order birthday cakes. Yesterday, my aunt was in the process of ordering our cake when we were informed that the prices on the display were accurate for different sizes of cakes. The total for our cake should have been $42, but a very rude employee accused us of owing an additional $10. My father, who knows some of the management at Wegmans, went there today not just because of the price discrepancy, but also because when my aunt inquired about the price, the employee threatened to call security. By the way, my aunt is African American. When asked why she would make such a threat, the employee walked away without giving an explanation.

I had an issue with my Apple Pay payment at the restaurant and the manager or supervisor kindly covered my $30 bill. It was a small amount but it meant a lot to me, as it saved me from having to return later with cash after my husband got home.
