Donny G's Ristorante Bar - Elmwood Park

We absolutely loved the location and the delicious food. We visited to celebrate my husband's birthday and enjoyed a variety of appetizers that disappeared quickly, as well as some delicious entrees.

We had our family Christmas party at this restaurant today. It was fantastic. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. I can't praise it enough. I just wish we lived closer so we could visit more often, but we will definitely be returning.

My wife and I went there last night. The menu is very versatile with regards to light and heavy, pasta and proteins options which is a definite plus. The entrees were solid. The baked clams were ok. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We'llcertainly come back.

Brought from family here that were visiting from NY and they were very happy and pleased with the meal. Definitely the best Italian food I have had in the Chicago area. Donny G?s has great prices, and a nice menu to choose from, and excellent servicefrom the whole staff. I went with the grilled octopus, Shrimp scampi and pappardelle bolognese for dinner. Can?t wait to comeback and try some more items.

We wanted to give our out-of-town friend a taste of classic Chicago-style Italian cuisine, and Donnie G's definitely delivered. The food was fantastic, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was just right. The menu was well thought out and informative, with dishes like the pasticcio showcasing a Greek influence in the spices, reminiscent of Southern Italy. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning in the future.
