We really enjoyed the Valentine's Day Special. The pizzas (the seafood and the pesto chicken) were very good and the chocolate-covered strawberries were a real treat and a good way to finish our meal. We cannot wait to visit and eat soon.

Beautiful re-purpased old fireplace located on the main road in Embrun, a city only about 40 minutes outside of Ottawa, is where you can find this micro brewery / restaurant. I was in town to visit friends and we walked here for dinner. A second visit happened when a friend of Ottawa went up to eat something. It is either prepared in a smoker or on a grill, but nothing is deep fried. The service is excellent. Very friendly. All three waiters I helped over the two visits were incredibly helpful and friendly. The reason why it is 3 stars instead of 4 that I found that the food took a very long time. The first visit was not as busy as the second and the food lasted about 30 minutes. Not terrible, but it should have been faster. The second was much longer, with a burger and poutine for my friend and my brisket sandwich with Caesar salad over an hour and change. It was busy and fair to be, the sandwich was epic like the salad, but a head up would have been appreciated so we knew. They offer frits, potato wedges, salad or caesar salad for the pages without upgrade to pay what is very cool. The frits were nothing special, but the wedges and salads are good. If you are in the city, it is a nice place to check, and as mentioned, very friendly staff.

Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with the food quality. We spend 80$ for 3 mains and 2 sides to try a few didn’t things, wasn’t happy with any of the dishes. Really wanted to support local. It might work for other; didn’t work for us.
