Bushwackers - Emerald Isle

This restaurant was extremely dirty! We were shocked to see three cockroaches crawling on our table, and when we mentioned it to the waitress, she didn't seem bothered. She simply said that they get water beetles at this time of year. As someone with over 25 years of experience as a real estate manager and owner of a beach house, I know that pests can be controlled. I was hesitant to return to this place because of a previous filthy experience. Despite the good food, I was disappointed that there was no apology or offer of compensation. Additionally, the waitress saw a cockroach run across the floor and killed it.

This restaurant is extremely dirty. When three cockroaches crawled across our table, the waitress did not seem surprised. I suggested she inform the owner, to which she responded, "Oh, we get waterbugs this time of year." I have experience as a property manager for over 25 years and own a beach house, so I know this issue can be controlled. Despite the good taste of the food, I was disappointed by the lack of apology or compensation for the incident. The waitress even saw and killed one of the cockroaches that ran by her on the floor.
