Flipperz Family Grill - Emerald Isle

10/10, definitely go!!! Great food, amazing service. The food also came really fast!!

Food is average, but not bad. Wait staff was good and took care of us. Prices are up there. Bill for 4 of us was over $100.00.

The only positive about our experience was that the hostess and waitress were kind and attentive. Our food came out very salty everything was so salty even the water! As an app we had the crab dip with salty pitas. I had the fish tacos with chips and my boyfriend had the crab BLT with chips SO SALTY and soggy. We received 2 warm beers and water that tasted so off we were unable to drink it. Additionally it was so hot in the restaurant that we were sweating while we were eating. Once we got home we both had terrible stomach aches. We had heard such great things about this local establishment and were incredibly disappointed we do not plan on coming back. My boyfriend and I love to eat local, and hate leaving bad reviews but this experience to start our vacation was such a sour note.

Place was busy for a Sunday evening. Was 20-30 minutes, but waited about 15. Service was outstanding. Zara was with us within minutes. Quick drinks. Food was out quickly. Hot and fresh. Fried pickes and jalapeños is a must try for an appetizer. Wife had Seashas Flounder Sandwich with fries. Large piece if fish. Cooked perfect. I had the Isle Shrimp burger. Slaw was amazing, shrimp grilled perfect. Atmosphere was good. Not to loud considering it's a small area. But everything else was definitely big. Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Will definitely be back on next vacation. Definitely a gem on Emerald Isle. Parking: Parking is a little tight for bigger vehicles.

Had lunch here Saturday after fishing on the pier all morning. Had the flounder plate with slaw and french fries. The flounder was real flounder fried to perfection. It was amazing. The cole slaw was perfect. Lightly sweetened and creamy with a hint of seasoning I couldn't put my finger on and it was delicious. I could have eaten 3 bowls of it. The french fries were perfect as well. Our waitress was excellent and all the staff were so friendly. If in Emerald Isle you have to check them out. I will definitely be back. Parking: Plenty of parking
