Fairbairn Bakery on Clermont - Emerald

I visit Fairbairn Bakery somewhat regularly on my way through Emerald, and am usually pretty happy. My visit on July 4th this year resulted in the best, tastiest chai latte I’ve ever had in my life! On one or two occasions in 2021 I’ve dealt with an unkind staff member who made me feel very unwelcome, but all my visits in 2022 have been great experiences! A bakery with a drive through… what more could you want?

This is my usual stop when I visit Emerald CQ. There are many baked products from assorted breads to assorted pies and pre made sandwiches. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful while there are a few that are probably grumpy by nature but still good enough to help you and have you leave the shop with a smile. Being a small shop with a small set client base, they do not always have what you are looking for. But there are good substitutes if you don't not mind.

Delicious! Definitely recommend! Staff were efficient and friendly. My chicken sandwich was so good for lunch, fresh and flavour-some, and my cheese and garlic scroll was even better!

Pies and sausage rolls were very tasty. Large selection of sweets and fresh bread and buns. Coffee and cold drinks also available.
