Corner Pizza - Encinitas

As an Eastcoast (nyc, Connecticut, Massachusetts) Pizza snob I wasn't expecting to be blown away and just wanted a pizza for my kids. My gawd... I was blown away. The crust is so crunchy and the cheese ratio is just right and the semi sweet tomato sauce is stellar. I was absolutely surprised and this will now be a regular spot for me. If Portnoy had this he would probably rate 8.5-8.8. Stellar. And not what I was expecting.

Good pizza spot in Leucadia. Thin and very good crust, high quality toppings.

Tried last night for the first time and I'm glad we did. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad to split. We were both hungry and it was the perfect amount of food. Loved the crispy thin crust. Perfect! Also loved that the food came out pretty quickly.Sat on the patio at a picnic table in the middle of several families with little kids. They were loud, but having a good time, and I appreciated the patio atmosphere that made it possible for families to bring their kids and feel comfortable. I was also glad I'm no longer in that stage of life : )We have a go to pizza place up the road, but it was so good we will definitely be back!

The great:The food. Perfectly cooked pies. Amazing options. Great staff. Friendly. Helpful. Perfect environment for dine in. Only knock is they don't always have slices and slices are hard to come by in north county. Highly recommend.

A solid 8.9 Pizza….easily the best in SD. Don’t tell anybody though…?
