Davenport's - Encino

Ordered the Prime Filet Mingnon. Was the size of a Petite, and for $61.00 a poor value. Good cut, but...We come here often, and I understand that business right now is tough, still...Noise level was much higher than normal. Had to move due to a large unruly party at the next table.Other than this, very enjoyable evening. Service was great.

The meal was excellent. My steak was cooked as requested as was my companian's pork chop. The wait staff was friendly.

The food never disappoints, the ambience lovely, and the wait staff excellent. The Lobster bites are wonderful!

We went for our anniversary and sat outside on the side patio. I was greeted with a happy anniversary by the hostesses and our waiter, Shannon, who was WONDERFUL. Complementary glasses of champagne were provided, but while certainly not necessary, it was a nice touch. Our menu choices were accommodated with substitutions. The portions are very ample and you don 't leave hungry. We each had a different fish dish (Salmon and Chilean Sea Bass) and the presentation was beautiful and the flavors simply great.
