Sari Rasa - Ende

This place can not be recommended strongly enough! The owner is a real genius and a true gentleman! He will sit down with you and explain how and why he cooks his amazing chicken with yellow rice or with noodles. He is funny, wise and sarcastic. This is the only time I've left a tip that was actually bigger than the bill itself, and I really encourage you to do the same. This place is unique.

Sadly I got to excited abbot the food and forgot to take photos but this was my highlight in Ende! Simple menu with amazing flavours (only meat dishes are available) but if like me you try to keep the meat consumption to a minimum this was well worth the treat. The chef sat down to talk me through the menu and how best to enjoy the flavours. He was great company and so hospitable! Gave alot of great insights about Indonesia too! Highly reccomend you try it!

Very friendly owner who speaks English very well. The food of the Sari Rasa restaurant is fresh cooked. The chicken (Ayam Goreng) is great. Very delicious. I love it. And it seems like the owner loves jazz music. Top. Will go there again.

The chicken noodles don't use vetsin, the chicken noodles taste good, but I still feel less other complementary ingredients, like meatballs. for the taste of the village chicken is pretty good, overall the food taste good

Definitely the best food we had in Flores! You will meet a chef who is really passionate about Indonesian food and makes a lot of effort to deliver it as delicious as possible. He sat with us to explain the menu in detail. We ordered 4 out of the 5 options and they were all delicious and surprising! Even the drinks are homemade. We were lucky to come very early (18:30), because the restaurant quickly filled with local regular customers. Very recommended!
