Woodmans Arms - England

I drove several times from this pub and always wanted to jump in. beautiful that I did it, as it was nice, inside, with friendly, polite staff and great ales. it didn't eat, but next time I wanted to give myself more time. many parking spaces outside.

Great camper stop with adjacent field in good weather and good climbing frame and swings for the children!. Very helpful and hospitable. Food is reasonable and has good selection of beers. It is near the road but not too much traffic after 10pm. They could put in electric hookup and a water tap to make this a perfect place for motorhomes but definitely up there with the better pub stops!

First visit and we were so impressed. Lovely food, lovely staff. We only went in for a light bite/ snack. Very generous portions and tasty too. Definitely will be returning.

Went to the Woodman Arms last night with my husband and a friend and each one of us had a lovely meal. We were greeted with a genuine smile from the young lady at the bar when we arrived and shown to our table which was in the restaurant area of the pub, what a lovely place to have a chat and a meal, the background music was just at the right level and the chairs were very comfortable. You could see the beautifully kept garden area outside and all in all it was a very pleasant place to have a meal. The portions of food were very generous and we all commented on how each other’s meals were totally delicious. We booked again before we left to make sure we get a table, I can imagine it gets booked up quite quickly. I’ll make sure I tell all our friends what a lovely place this is.

During our vacation in the Isle of Wight, we stumbled upon a fantastic restaurant called Woodmans. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We both started with the garlic mushrooms; my partner ordered the king linguine, while I had the lasagna, which was perfectly homemade and satisfying. We look forward to returning later in the week!
