The Silver Salmon Grill Seafood - Ennis

This has been a local favorite for years. After finally trying it, I was again disappointed with Astorian taste buds. The food was mediocre. It was well presented, but lacked flavor. Each person at the table ordered something different, so it wasn't 1 dish. The soup of the day was the only tasty item, smoked salmon corn chowder. The service we received was good. The atmosphere feels like a 1980's saloon. It's very out dated, dark and has no ventilation. I suggest they modernize it, because the space is great with lots of potential. In the end, it's about the food and we won't be returning.

A little pricey but absolutely delicious. Perfect way to end a coast day trip. Salmon fish and chips and spinach& mushroom cheese tortellini were to die for.

The clam chowder was some of the best I’ve ever had.
