Old Stables Tavern - Episkopi

Wonderful hearty old fashioned welcome from the proprietors who care about their clientele. The menu is comprehensive but very traditional Cypriot too with traditional dishes favoured. Traditional Cypriot drinks and others available. Prices are competitive and very reasonable. Only open in the evenings, but children are welcome and well catered for. Service is very good and staff are friendly and will advise on choices. Allergies are advised. Plenty of free parking. An older village property converted to a restaurant gives an authentic atmosphere without being overly pretentious. A thoroughly delightful experience. We almost drove past it, it's so inconspicuous from the street. We were pleasantly surprised. Sat on the terrace, which is on the street but was still comfortable and not loud. The food was typically Greek, delicious. Good wine recommendation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very good traditional food. The portions are sufficient. We ordered musaka and kleftiko, encouraged by previous comments, it was very good. I highly recommend. Perfect foods. The kleftiko and moussaka we tried were incredible dishes, very tasty. The portions are very large, the halloumi is delicious, the best we have eaten in Cyprus.
