Bill's Restaurant Bar Epsom

Our meals were very good, and we chose items from both the à la carte and set menus. When our bill arrived, we noticed that the child's meal we had ordered was charged, even though the outdoor sign and the email communication stated it would be free in August. The waitress explained that it was because we had ordered from the set menu, but she offered to deduct it from the service charge. We didn't want to go through that hassle, so we decided to pay the bill as it was. I would suggest that the restaurant clearly communicates the terms regarding the free children's meal offer to avoid any confusion, as the information on the signage and in the emails was misleading. Despite this, we had a lovely lunch overall.

I appreciate how some larger restaurants have evolved, but I've noticed that as they expand, they often lose the charm and attention to detail that initially made them unique and delicious.

All the staff are fantastic and always make us feel welcome every time we visit!

Good eating, with a series of options on the menu. calamari starter was wonderful. meatball with Bravata main was beautiful. sauce and meatball tasty bravata could have been hotter. very good service of friendly, courteous staff

The service was poor, attitude of waitress rather dismissive. The fish was over cooked and dry!
