I don’t have confidence that what I 'm buying is actually vegan. For example, the plain salad baguette is stated as vegan but also contains milk (not may contain .

Coughlans are well known for their massive vegan baked goodies range (donuts, pastries, biscuits, meringue, cupcakes, sausage style rolls, cheez onion pasties, vegan bacon pasties, plant milks for drinks etc). Nice friendly staff, store always looks clean. There’s a comment below about the vegan items not being vegan this just sounds like a case of out of date labelling, so rather than leaving a bad review it’s probably better just to message them if you see something confusing, or to ask the staff directly as they will no doubt have an allergen book. Sean Coughlan (of Coughlans) is very active on social media so it’s probably better to mention to him what might be an innocent mistake rather than putting down a business that is trying very hard to veganise its range. Main downside to Coughlans is that as a lunch location, it’s all very much ‘naughty’ food. They used to sell a really nice hummus/pepper sandwich but stopped selling it a long time ago. It’d be good to see that back, and maybe something like a vegan cream cheese/spinach wholemeal sandwich etc.

Coughlans Bakery has made most of their range vegan savoury and sweet pastries, biscuits, muffins, toasted and fresh sandwiches, loaves and cakes too! They do still serve a few non vegan items. Their coffee is great too selection of plant based milk alternatives available.
