This is, by far, the best pub in the area. The food is always good, regardless of which chef is cooking. The bar/waiting staff actually know what they're doing and provide a polite and friendly service overall a high standard of customer service. The drinks are served in the relevant glasses, the plates are warmed before serving and the prices are right for the drinks and food. I get regular offers which sometimes includes a freebie drink.
