Federal Hill Smokehouse - Erie

Went for lunch today and was very impressed. Great portion good value juicy porkand great smoke flavor. Definitely try it again.

Had the day off of work which finally gave me the ability to try Federal Hill Smokehouse for lunch. I had the brisket, pulled pork and sausage with sides of coleslaw and mac n cheese. The food was amazing, can not think of one suggestion or criticism. Everything was hot, fresh, tender and full of flavor. Portions were plentiful and the prices were great. I hope you guys continue to grow and become a permanent fixture in our city.

Love the quaint atmosphere, but the thing I loved most was the wonderful smell of smoked meat that caused my mouth to water the moment I entered. The brisket was amazing and I look forward to trying the other meats on the menu. Great experience.

Alrighty... i finally stopped in and fed at Federal Hill Smokehouse in Erie,PA. I have been sharing their statuses and getting the word out since they first started renovating the building and prepping for their opening. I have never spoken with any of the people involved face to face before, yet the owner stopped slicing Brisket and asked my name like he was very familiar with me, and as soon as i said my name he said he knew exactly who i was from FaceBook and thanked me for sharing statuses and getting the word out. My Wife had a 3 meat 2 sides platter so i could try as many products as possible, i on the other hand went full effing carnivore with a 1lb Beef Rib only... NOT DISAPPOINTED! Pulled Pork... delicious Brisket, fatty cut... delicious Pork Rib... delicious Macaroni Cheese... delicious Coleslaw... delicious 1lb smoked Beef Rib... absolutely the most beautiful thing i have ever fed on. It was like a perfectly seasoned delight of buttery textured Beef on a Rib Stick, and smoked perfectly. No sauces were needed for any of the product here, but i did taste the 3 on hand, and the Mustard Vinegar sauce was my fave for sure on the pulled Pork. And then as i was asking for a take home container, for the pile of smoked meat that we could not fit into our guts at that time, the owner tossed a 3XXX Smokehouse shirt at me and said “on the house” and thanked me again for spreading the word of his joint. Outstanding all the way around, thank you very much for a great meal.

Everyone raves about the brisket and ribs. For me it’s the turkey!. Nice moist smoky flavor. Plus I love their coleslaw.
