Ordered a bunch of stuff for a group and it was great! Loved the brisket the most!

Key word DRY, everything is dry. Ordered the brisket and jalapeno cheddar sausage, with jalapeno cream corn and coleslaw platter. The brisket is so dry, it literally crumbles. I'm not sure how they make dry cream corn, but they managed to do so.One of our group had the chicken, breast and wing, also extremely dry it was really hard to choke down. I was told the rub on the ribs was extremely salty, not my thing but may be yours.The sausage was good, so I assumed they purchased those from somewhere else.They have free corn bread, which is nice. However, even buttered up it is unbelievably dry. I added some honey hoping that would help, but it just turned it into spackle in my mouth.It came with a slice of white to soak up the grease, yet everything is so dry I just buttered it to help wash everything else down.The menu says the platter comes with pickles, but I did not get those either, I'm sure they would have been dry.I would consider this on the expensive side for an order at the counter place.

Would have liked to try, but theres a sign on the door saying they don't open until June. It isn't on their website or SM sadly. Just a warning to others, since yelp says they're open.

We've ordered from King Smoke Texas BBQ twice. Food was delicious tasty. Spare Ribs are HUGE filled with great flavor. We've tried all their BBQ sauces. Carolina has a vinegar-y taste thin. Texas sauce is thicker with a slight sweet taste. Georgia is a mustard-style sauce, and the KC BBQ sauce is thick with a bold taste to it. Customer service over the phone was friendly was greeted with a friendly face when we arrived for pick up. The only draw back is online payment. When you arrive for pick up, you pay for your meal there and my husband almost forgot to pay for the meal because we're use to paying for it online. There's pros cons to this method, of course. Overall, this is great place to pick up hot and ready BBQ with friendly people.

My husband and I just had king smoke. I had the brisket dinner with potato salad mac cheese it was amazing. My husband had the hog heaven pulled pork sandwich with baked beans. Also complementary cornbread. My husband said his pulled pork sandwich was a 10. Best barbecue I’ve ever had. Also JodI very nice and explains everything about the sauces.
