Canyon Grille Welk Resort - Escondido

Good for a bite if you are going to the theatre at the Lawrence Welk Resort.

I would not recommend this to a friend because their service was horrible. It took minutes just to get water. Then we still had to wait to get our order taken. I do have to admit that the food was delicious, but the whole dining out experience was terrible.

We had a reservation for Valentine's day and they put us out on the patio with no heat and wires hanging all over the walls. Then we asked to move inside, they did, twice. They asked if it's ok to move us into another waiters section. Odd but easy enough. The waiter would disappear for minutes at a time. There where so many people staring into space wondering wtf was going on. We come here often and it was no more busy then any other Friday night. It seems like every other time we come here it's a sit show. We keep going back because we are trapped with it being the only place around.

Reasonable place to stop in before a show at the theater! The meat loaf entree was quite tasty.

Always a good choice for dinner...and lunch. Will be back for sure.
