This charming little neighborhood market in Escondido is a hidden gem. They offer fresh meats, delicious carne asada, marinated chicken, and homemade tortillas, all made on-site. It's a must-try!

The food is excellent! I was really pleased with my pollo asado burrito and the chilaquiles. The fresh corn tortillas were fantastic too. I will definitely come back!

The homemade tortillas here are the best I've ever had! The shop is small and quite crowded, but they offer takeout options at reasonable prices.

I went to buy rice and it was really good the cook ‍ was nice, rice was well cook non greasy as the way Northgate made their food, and the staff was super friendly the tortillas are really good too.

Esperanza’s tortillería is your place to go. Delicious flavor of masa for your best tamales in town. Been going there for a least 30 years.
