Lester's is a BBQ buffet restaurant in the country worth driving to. There is a full buffet, salad bar dessert bar, all good. They are only open Th-Sun. Sunday is the best day to go for lunch the busiest. It looks like a very popular place for Sunday dinner after Church. I think they close early on Sunday so check before you go. My favorite time is in the mid afternoon Thurs-Sat to miss the crowd. It is very casual everyone there is always very nice. They have a large private dining room for reunions for overflow when the main room is full.

Fantastic food! It feels just like home-cooked meals. The chicken is delightfully crispy. The dishes have a true Southern charm. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the back roads of the Low Country. BBQ sauce is available right on the table. For dessert, they offer pecan pie and chocolate pudding topped with real whipped cream. Fresh biscuits are also served. The greens are perfectly cooked, not overdone. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy meals just like the Waltons would.

I've been visiting this restaurant since I was 8 years old, and nothing else compares to it when it comes to the taste, variety, and atmosphere of country cooking buffets. I'll keep coming back until I lose my teeth, and then I'll dive straight into the hearty stew!
