Farmhouse - Etowah

It was four minutes from our hotel and a block from the main train. We loved the outside AND the inside. Five stars. Our waitress was a treasure and very helpful. When I asked about the Koleslawin, she brought me a taste. It was good, but not the creamy way I really like. So I ordered the Senior Special a Meat Chicken-Casserole) and 2 pages peach and corn-nuggets) with corn bread. Husband got the popcorn shrimps and wrinkles. Five stars for service and varied menu above all the cheap Senior Specials! When the food came, we could feel that the heat goes off. Everything was so good! I loved the chicken cuprols like the interior of a pancake mixed with crackers instead of a crust. The maize nuggets were perfect, and corn bread tasted as it was made from scratches. Peaches were good. Husband had no complaints about his food and ate everything. Five stars for food. There was so much to see around us. The decor was eclectic vintage Coca Cola memorabilia, cows, old characters, horses, chickens and many characters to welcome and show love. Five stars for decor. In a review, someone mentioned Dessert. They regretted not to take it to eat it after eating. We don't like regrets, so we ordered the carrot cake and the peanut butter cake. They were just as delicious. Dessert gets five stars. This place has everything with my voice for 5!

This is some of the best country food I’ve ever tasted. I feel like I’ve been eating all wrong until now—everything was that delicious! The service is quick and friendly. It can get quite busy, but that’s just a testament to how great the food is. If you enjoy broccoli casserole, I highly recommend trying theirs!

During our evacuation from New Orleans because of Hurricane Ida, my family and I stumbled upon this charming town, where the Farmhouse Restaurant quickly became one of our favorite dining spots! The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Oh, and the decor is absolutely adorable! I highly recommend this place!

It's always a pleasure to be in the company of such friendly people, and the food here is consistently amazing. I particularly love Tuesdays, as that's when they serve their delicious chicken casserole!

On our first visit we had both a great meal and excellent service. A 'meat and three ' that anyone will enjoy.
