Blaze Pizza - Evanston

Vegan options!! First pizza I've been vegan for a year. I have to admit, I almost broke off and loaded it w/real cheese, but the vegan cheese was not bad. I'll probably leave it out the next time, because I think it's just fine without it. Thank you.

They've been so often in this place over the past 5 years. I always go for the opportunity to build my own pizza and I load my with tons of vegetables. The spicy vegan chorizo topping is amazing and so its vegan cheese is in small amounts. Too much vegan cheese feels a bit overwhelming for me. The Pesto sauce is tasty, but very creamy, so much that it always leaves a very strong smell and it feels like it takes forever to go away, but hard you try. For this reason, I always stay at the regular red sauce. The seating area is okay. It's a fast food joint, so don't go with very high expectations. But I always liked how my pizza turns out here. Is it really pizza? Maybe not. The answer depends on who you ask. But for me it is a form of flat bread fast food that is delicious. I like they have the Northwestern Wildcard discount in this industry. I've never eaten in another blaze outlet than this before to make comparisons.

Although the pizza isn't the fanciest nor the best tasting, I must say the service and efficiency is amazing. We had a walk-in big group coming in, but the manager easily handled the situation and got 6 pizzas ready in around 10 minutes. Again, not the highest quality pie, but very quick ones.

Good pizza, I’ve only been to this location once and I didn’t expect it to have much seating but there is plenty in the back. Overall good experience.
