Chef's Station - Evanston

This has officially become my new favorite restaurant in North Shore Chicago! It's a hidden gem in Evanston. I visited last night, and everything we ordered was fantastic. I had the duck entree, and it was incredibly delicious. I also loved the yellowtail tuna appetizer, the beet and goat cheese appetizer, and the souffle! Everything was superb! The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Our server recommended a lovely wine that paired perfectly with my meal. I can't wait to return to Chef Station!

Chef's Station is one of the best restaurants on the North Shore. I highly recommend trying the mini lobster tails in vanilla sauce as an appetizer—they're sensational! The rack of lamb is a fantastic main course, and you can't go wrong with any of their soufflés for dessert, but keep in mind that you need to order them when you place your initial order with the waiter. Overall, I highly recommend Chef's Station!

The food and service were outstanding. We also loved the outdoor patio, which offered a wonderful atmosphere for fine dining while still feeling relaxed and casual!

Very warm and inviting atmosphere. Have a cocktail at the bar and then move on to have a delicious dinner. It's the kind of place that's incredibly delicious, so you'll need to order an appetizer, main and dessert. Because they're not trying to be the Olive Garden, the portions are reasonable, not overwhelming. Incredibly high quality food. A number of us had salads and were impressed. The seafood was FRESH, which is hard to do in Chicago. Cocktail menu was very impressive. Place is perfect for a business dinner, small birthday/anniversary or date night dinner. A lovely place to have an adult meal in an adult atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and only seen when you needed them, always attentive. They were very flexible as we had a large group, and they were very patient as we figured our orders out. Only knock? With a large group they kept messing up who ordered what and placed plates all over the place. Small organizational nit that did not detract.
