Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Food and service were great. The staff was friendly, but it was extremely busy so it was difficult to focus on any table. Hats for the great work they did. Quality of food was excellent. There was a 30-minute waiting time. Quick Tip: instead of waiting for the name on the list, use the app to do it digitally. We shaved 10 minutes from our waiting period, only by skipping the line at the counter.

Sit! But we obviously knew Sunday morning @11 AM would be a waiting time, service delays, hectic. This always gives us a great time to relax for conversations and time.

We stopped in a little before 7:00 PM. There was a sign on the door that they were closing at 7 for the employees Christmas party. They still seated us and didn’t rush us at all. We were the last ones seated, but definitely not last out the door. I always order a kids meal which is plenty for me. I had dumplings and apples. Everything was delicious. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he said it was very good.

This was my first visit to Cracker Barrel but it will not be my last! The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the overall ambiance had an old time country home feel. The menu selections ranged from the standard Southern biscuits and sausage gravy to succulent sirloin steaks with eggs! Whatever you are in the mood for, I'm sure you'll find it here. Oh and the apple butter is a must-try!

We are here from out of town and stopped into this Cracker Barrel after a long day at holiday world. The food was delicious! Ashley was our server and she was great! She kept our drinks full even though we were drinking like whales! I had the trout it was wonderful, our daughter got the biggest order of chicken fried chicken I’ve ever seen! We were really happy with everything! The service was awesome! The food tasted amazing! The bill was less than we expected also! Thanks again!
