Camellia Street Grill - EVERGLADES CITY

I had the calamari salad, and it was quite bland. I requested grilled calamari, but there was no seasoning whatsoever. It was essentially just lettuce and calamari.

Wow! The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible! The cobia, prepared any way, is definitely the highlight. It was well worth the drive from Marco Island.

I was thrilled to discover some vegan options in this small town! I ordered the veggie tacos and cucumber salad, both of which were delightful. They also offered black bean soup, a black bean burger, slaw, and a veggie salad. Earlier in the day, I enjoyed their sweet potato fries, which were delicious as well.

The food is not exceptional, but it's one of the few places in town that offers vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere is lovely, situated by the water with music and shade. My non-vegan friend enjoyed the seafood and found it quite tasty. I also appreciated that the servers consistently wore masks.
