Írjon visszajelzéstGreat place for casual dining, with friendly staff and a laid-back vibe. I visit a few times a year with friends or before concerts at the Queen's Hall, and it never lets me down. I especially love the grilled chicken; it's delicious!
To start our meal, we ordered a selection of meze to share, including the flaky pastries filled with feta and spinach, spicy garlic sausage, halloumi, and meatballs in a tomato sauce. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was definitely the baked pastries. Surprisingly, I even enjoyed the meatballs, which I usually don’t care for, as the sauce was incredibly fresh and flavorful. For my main course, I chose the mixed grill based on my friend's suggestion, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The platter included lamb, chicken, and sausage. The lamb was especially tasty, but everything was well-cooked and served with rice and chili sauce. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the staff was efficient and attentive. Overall, my experience at Hanedan was delightful. It was a pleasant surprise, as I didn't know what to expect, but it has now become my go-to spot for Turkish cuisine in Edinburgh.
We absolutely love Hanedan. We dine here frequently, and we've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is consistently outstanding. We typically enjoy the large, thin-cut steak, which is always delicious. They also offer a delightful dessert similar to Eton Mess with pineapple or strawberries that we highly recommend. The coffee is excellent, and so is the baklava.
An amazing place with great food and always a warm welcome. have lost the number of times we were. the prices are also very reasonable. try the mezze for two as their starter.
I came here with a friend one Thursday evening we booked ahead as my friend had said the establishment was small so wanted to ensure we got a table. The restaurant is small, but it is so beautiful inside. There was only a few staff which was all that was needed but they were really nice and friendly. The food was outstanding! I didn 't know what to order so my friend suggested the lamb liver as a hot starter to mix with some cold starters. We both had a mixed grill as a main course. The food was amazing and I really enjoyed my evening there. I think the next time I will order more starters and almost have a 'tapas ' style meal so I can try a bit of everything (shared though! . The restaurant isn 't in the centre of Edinburgh and parking on the street can be a bit tight but I would highly recommend this restaurant! Additionally, the price of our meal was very very reasonable. I will definitely be back!
