Pizza Academy - Exeter

All of their marinara sauce is prepared with meatballs. I requested a vegan calzone with the sauce on the side, but they informed me that everything is cooked with meatballs. This is an update to my previous review from June 15, 2022.

I’ve had some of the best vegan pizzas here, and they even offer vegan calzones. I discovered this place by chance, and initially, it didn’t seem very vegan-friendly. However, they do carry Violife non-dairy cheese, and one great bonus is that there are no extra charges for it. Among all the restaurants in Exeter, this is definitely the one we've dined at the most.

Absolutely outstanding pizza! The service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is fantastic. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. As an Amazon driver, I'm always on the lookout for places that truly impress me, and this one is a must-visit if you're in Exeter! Whether you're grabbing a ready-to-eat slice, ordering a whole pizza, or trying one of their incredible BBQ pork subs, everything is consistently exceptional every single time. Kudos to the owners for their amazing work. God bless!

The pizza is quite sour, and I personally didn't enjoy it. There are many better pizza places nearby. Overall, I do not recommend Pizza Academy.
