Eddington's - Exeter

This restaurant is truly amazing. We arrived with no reservation. One of the owners asked if we would like to sit at the bar. The patio was comfortable and beautifully designed. We are so very glad we took him up on his offer. The drinks were creative and very attractive, the service was pleasant, and the food was exceptional and reasonably priced. We live 90 mins. away but we will drive there again just to eat.A perfect place to dine of a warm, summer evening.

We were seated and waited to order. The waiter arrived to take our order. We had just ordered drinks and it was only 20 minutes after arriving and were perusing the menu. Then the maitre’d came over and began to lecture us on taking too much time to order. She was rude and demanded we order immediately. We have never been treated so badly and were all shocked at the rude treatment. This put a big damper on an 85th birthday party. We will never return to this restaurant!!

Wow! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Eddington’s! The fig crostini was beautiful and flavorful -an excellent starter. We appreciated the seasonal, local ingredients. Fabulous soup and veggie Wellington! Beautiful presentation on a lovely patio.

On Saturday evening, we ordered six takeout dinners from Eddington's. The beef was outstanding and still delicious even after a 20-minute drive home. The chicken and salmon entrees were also fantastic. We appreciate the local farm-to-table concept at Eddington's. The service was prompt, efficient, and we felt very safe with all COVID regulations being enforced. We highly recommend trying the diverse menu at Eddington's, it will not disappoint.
