Vickers Restaurant - EXTON

Went here for a great birthday dinner for my dad. Everyone had a delicious meal that was well executed.

My wife and I searched for a high end restaurant for our 50th wedding anniversary and found Vickers and we're really glad we did! Great food, great service, and great ambience! Give them a try I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I just wandered onto a review of this restaurant and wanted to share my thoughts on Vickers. I used to work there many many years ago late 90’s (I know I’m biased) and wanted to a share my thoughts on Arturo and his legacy. After many years of thought and experience,I tip my cap to that great restaurant man and his family. Honestly it wasn’t all one man and it rarely is… but that family knew what it took to be successful and they have clearly carried on the tradition. For those of you who have a place where they are known as “regulars”… you know what I’m referring to…. Places like this create a sense of family of which you are a member… from employee to customer… we were all family. I was a “goomba” but that was huge!!! Huge cap tip to the Vickers folks for keeping the tradition of fine dining alive.

My late husband and I enjoyed a dinner at Vickers for the first time on February 15, 1992. He had planned to bring me there on Valentine's Day, but was unable to due to an ice storm after a long day of depositions in York, PA. Despite the cold and drizzly weather when we arrived, we found the atmosphere to be romantic in the full dining room. We both tried bison for the first time, and at the end of the meal, my husband surprised me with a proposal. We had a wonderful marriage that was sadly cut short after 23 years. I will always cherish the memories of Vickers, where our life together began. We returned to the restaurant for special occasions over the years, including New Year's Eve 2013 with our daughters Kathleen and Megan. Thank you for the unforgettable moments. Elissa

This long-standing local restaurant has been a mainstay in the community for many years. While it has changed ownership a few times over the past three decades, it remains a reliable choice for dinner. The classic bar has a charming and nostalgic atmosphere. If you haven't had the chance to visit yet, I highly recommend giving it a try - you won't be disappointed.
