Taco costs $2.50 everyone but it is quite filling out and are made to order. Pay attention to the deal of 4 for $9. Try the Tortas and the variety of Mexican soda.
Had a few different types of tacos and there were all great, chorizo, chicken and beef. Unfortunately they were out of pork so I will have to go back for more.
It’s easy. You want commercial Tex-Mex, eat there. You want Mexican food prepared by Mexicans, eat here. Note: there is no ambiance; maybe less. There is a single counter with bar stools. No mariachi hats, or music. The waitresses don’t wear sparkly dresses designed for dancing. Wait! There are no waitresses. There are hard working women who chop, prepare, cook, and when a meal is ready they turn around and serve. Everything isn’t flooded with cheese. Note: I don’t eat ambiance. Not much English spoken. But enough to take your order, so don’t worry. Note: I don’t eat conversation But I eat here often. Because I eat food.
The restaurant offers delightful authentic Mexican cuisine, and the service was excellent. If you're in search of traditional flavors, I highly recommend trying this place.
These are the best tacos I’ve had in the Pascack Valley so far. I tried the Cabeza and Carnitas, both of which were full of flavor. The tortillas are double-layered and slightly fried, making them delicious. The tacos are a generous size and offer great value for the price. The chips and guacamole were just okay; the guacamole wasn’t as creamy, salty, or spicy as I prefer, and it may not have been very fresh. In terms of seating, there is only one table for four in the back and some seats at the counter. One minor hiccup was that my plate didn’t come with lime or radish, which I noticed other diners had; I think it was just an oversight.
