Boston's Gourmet Pizza - Fairbanks

We decided to give this place an attempt as there was one of the only places that were still open at 8:00. Despite the previous reviews, we actually had a pleasant experience. The food was all delicious and the caught beer was super fresh. Recommend a burger and the aroma dome ipa from the local brewery in Fairbanks.

The food is good, quality takes time and I would rather have it the way I ordered it. The burger was juicy and delicious. The sweet potato fries were cooked just right and the whole plate was scrumptious.

The service was average. I didn't catch our server's name, but you can see her in one of the photos. Instead of checking in on us, she placed the food in front of us without so much as a glance. I would have appreciated some salt and pepper, but there were none on the tables. I hoped to order a drink, but she seemed more focused on rolling silverware than attending to our needs. The cleanliness was a concern too; there was a good amount of garbage on the floor where some servers were sitting and eating, and it appeared no one was addressing the mess. It's disheartening because this place has the potential to be excellent, but the standards seem quite low. In my experience running restaurants, we never allowed our staff to eat on the floor in front of customers. To add to the frustration, our server left the food tray in the booth next to me for several minutes. Who wants that? It's just too bad.

The food was the worst I've ever experienced. It didn't compare at all to the Anchorage Boston.

AWFUL SERVICE!! We waited 20 minutes just to place our drink order! We also had to ask for silverware, and to make matters worse, we found not one, but two hairs in our pizza! I would not recommend this specific Boston's to anyone! Save your money and time and just eat at McDonald's across the street!
