Friar Tuck's Hoagie House - Fairbanks

For this area, 5 stars doesn't mean it is out of the world. 5 stars simply means it's better than the other places. The real downfall to this place is the prices. It's so pricey for what should be cheaper. It does taste great, but again that's only because everything else in the area sucks. The chef salad was tasty and has the right amount of toppings to lettuce. The Cuban was great. It had the perfect amount of meat to sauce. The spicy mustard was out of this world. Overall, I'm not sure the price matches what you would expect, but at least the food tastes good.

A great place to have lunch. They have a great variety of sandwiches. The cheese fries are awesome. Fried pickles are a must to try.The service is great and always see smiles on the employees faces.

A traveler's oasis very delicious. THE service was excellent; wide range of jamz (country, top 40, dance, christian) playing on the radio not to loud. The Ruben is awesome as well as the pretzel. The price was reasonable as well.Parking: Easy to get to in any size RV

Wow so delish!!! Love love loved the Reuben and babes roll, and don’t even get me started on the pretzel appetizer! Our waitress did SO GOOD even though she was still in training. The atmosphere was so hip, which I love. Nice to see an all American game like baseball on the televisions instead of those cronies on the news ? . Will definitely be giving Mr. Tuck my business in the future?

I ordered a Cobb salad and got literally 2 pieces of chicken. And all they offered me was a gift certificate for the price of the chicken. ??
