Írjon visszajelzéstInconsistent experience. Initially, when I ordered from here, the pizza and v fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. However, recently, the quality has been hit or miss. I often find myself waiting much longer than the estimated time provided when I place my order—usually twice as long. I've also received burnt tops and, during my last visit, the pizza wasn't even cut into slices. When they do get it right, it’s fantastic, but figuring out when that is can be challenging.
After an hour and a half of waiting, my order finally arrived, but no explanation was given for the delay. I had specifically requested the chef's special pizza with a pan crust, but what I received was essentially a bland cheese bread with minimal sauce and toppings—nothing special about it and in the wrong crust. I am incredibly disappointed with both the quality of the food and the service from this pizzeria. When I called to inquire about the mix-up, they admitted to sending the wrong pizza and offered me a mere $2 refund. This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had. Save yourself the trouble and choose a different pizzeria that values customer satisfaction and delivers on their promises.
I want this place to succeed! It's in a fantastic spot, surrounded by townhomes, adjacent to George Mason U, on a main road, should have a ton of traffic on a Friday Night, It should be the go to neighborhood spot. We have been looking for delicious pizza, the mailer we got did the job and brought us there. Sadly, most of the order didn't hold up. The signage hasn't changed to Mason Pizzeria yet. Bruschetta, was not chopped garlic, tomatoes, basil drizzled in olive oil. It was however a square pizza dough with a slice of tomatoes and dried cheese, no garlic, no herbs, no fresh tomato or oil. Ordered an Alfredo pizza, though I am sure they put Alfredo on it somewhere, I couldn't taste it. It was a very dry cheese pizza. Order of Tomato Viscouvio= 6 thin slices of tomatoe with a cheese and pesto baked into the bottom of a pan w/3 pieces of garlic bread..Finally! some garlic to be found sadly none of it was in the pizza or the rest of the order. A meat calzone was ordered and the eater reported it was decent. I implore the owner to use garlic, put sauce on the pizza. We decided to eat in the restaurant with no one in it. When asked if we could have some napkins or paper plates it was met with resistance instead of course. Beautiful mailer and menu on line.
Pizza is delicious. Sides leave much to be desired. Delivery is so slow it is almost non-existent. After the delivery is 45-60 minutes late from ETA and we call we always get, the driver just left. We either had great timing multiple times or they are not even bothering to deliver until we call. Recommend to always choose pick up. Also, depending on where you look it 's either called Zaytoon or Mason Pizza.
Until now, I always believed that there was no such thing as a bad pizza. I used to say that pizza can be great or good, but never truly bad. However, my experience at Zaytoon— or is it Mason?—has proven me wrong. They seem to be a bit confused about their name, and unfortunately, their pizza-making skills need improvement as well. I’ll give them two stars for the friendly staff and good service. Sadly, the Margherita and cheese pizzas I ordered were dry, overcooked, and had a strange, almost sour flavor, reminiscent of sourdough. While I’m sure the food will get eaten, as my kids seem to enjoy it, it certainly wasn’t what I hoped for.
