Írjon visszajelzéstThis was our second visit to La Kicked, and we would eat there again, although we wouldn't go out of our way to pass other beautiful restaurants to get there. We were not impressed when I had to personally provide my credit card details through a text link, considering the current state of online security and fraudulent activity. La Kicked is a bit pricey for the location in a RSL versus the CBD (e.g. $15 for 9 polenta chips), but the food overall was good. The mushroom veloute taster and dessert tasting plate were highlights, and the handmade pasta with tonne bay bug was delicious. The main issue was the lack of attention to detail. The complimentary olives on the table were a nice touch for olive lovers, but not everyone may enjoy them. Perhaps offering a few different options like nuts would be better. We don't drink alcohol and ordered our drinks without ice, but they both came with ice and I was overcharged for my virgin mojito. We would eat here again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of our way to make a special trip.
The 100 or so 5-star ratings for La Kicked do not do it justice. This restaurant not only provides a pleasant surprise outside the CBD, but also outshines many high-priced, pretentious establishments in the city. Both the menu and wine list offer top-notch quality and value, and hidden among the options are some true gems. The warm and welcoming team only adds to the overall experience. La Kicked is a must-visit restaurant, and more importantly, a place worth returning to.
The food and service were both outstanding, and the variety of drinks added to the wonderful evening. Special thanks to Tamara for taking care of us.
We had a great dinner with exceptional service. eating was amazing and the wee was excellent. the atmosphere was beautiful. we will re-think here.
Walking through the warm corridor on a wintry evening your greeted by the beautiful Tamara. She warmly greets you and leads you to your table which is impeccably set in a setting fit for the rich and famous. We sip on some wine as we...peruse the menu of which the specials are explained by Tamara. She then brings us complementary breads, olives and a beautiful balsamic vinaigrette. Tamara brings us the freshest selection of seafood in a lit glass case trolley and excellently explains the selection. She later also brings us the other selection which is a beautiful cut of wagyu 5+ marbling. Can’t forget about the other complementary appetiser which is a mushroom consume with a crusted Parmesan. Absolutely Devine. Something out of a Michelin star restaurant. Nevertheless to say Tamara answered all questions professionally. We had the scampi and wagyu and the Panna cotta for dessert. La Tratt is a Michelin star restaurant in the west. The fusion of flavours and design is second to none. With the experience and professionalism of Tamara and the team you’ll be coming back as we now do week after week.
