This lovely and delightful little café is amazing. The coffee is top-notch, and you must try the freshly baked date scone - it's incredible! The wifi is also quick, and there is plenty of free parking nearby. There is also a grocery store right next door.

During my journey from Queenstown to Christchurch, I decided to make a pit stop at a cozy cafe in Fairlie. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly smile from the staff. I opted for the all-day breakfast, which came with bacon, hash browns, sausage, fried eggs, baked beans, and toast. It was a generous portion at a very reasonable price, and it kept me satisfied all the way to Christchurch. The food was delicious and I also enjoyed a cup of flat white coffee afterwards, which was fantastic! This cafe has a charming, family-owned feel to it and despite its small size, it exudes warmth and loveliness. I absolutely loved my dining experience here.

I had a fantastic meal at Carnegies and a delicious breakfast at Hello Fairlie in this charming little town. It's definitely worth a visit if Lake Tekapo is fully booked.

Really great coffee from some super lovely people, if you're a local or you're passing through, definitely worth a stop.
