Sobol - Farmingdale

I find myself visiting this restaurant more frequently than I probably should. My favorite item on the menu is the açaí bowl with peanut butter - it's absolutely delicious! The staff is fantastic, and I also really enjoy their empanadas. This spot is perfect for both dining in and taking your meal outside on a lovely day.

I prefer other locations over this one. The mango is always hard and bitter, never ripe. There is a big step in front of the store that makes it difficult for wheelchair bound individuals and mothers with strollers to enter. The music playing is not always kid-friendly, with songs like Mask Off by Future. Overall, I have been disappointed with my experiences at this location compared to others I have visited.

I recommend going to a different location. My order is usually wrong, and most recently I received a regular-sized acai bowl that was only halfway filled, mostly with granola.

Smoothie was great, no issues with it all except they up-charge you if you substitute a fruit for another. They should allow one substitute because of dietary restrictions or preference.What is not okay is walking into a store that you have never been to before and the employee is talking to her friend at the counter having a full blown personal conversation, while you are standing there. It’s fine if your friend came to visit you at work, but take my order first and go back to your yapping afterwards. It was rude and unprofessional. The receipt said Lisa and she was telling the other employees what to do so I don’t know if she was the manager or owner or what, but your behavior today is not how you treat customers visiting the store.
