Smoak Town Bbq - Fate

I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this BBQ restaurant. There was a small mix-up with my order, but the owner and the staff were incredibly friendly and resolved the issue without any hassle. Even before tasting the food, I was already impressed with the service, but after trying the dishes, I was left speechless. My family has sampled BBQ from numerous places in Rockwall and the surrounding area, and this was, without a doubt, the best we've ever had! My wife, a huge ribs enthusiast, has often felt let down by other establishments, but she was absolutely amazed by how delicious the ribs were here. We also ordered sausage, pulled pork, brisket, and turkey, and every single item was outstanding. We will definitely be returning regularly from now on! The food is exceptional, and the service is top-notch! I'm especially looking forward to trying the PB&J burnt ends on my next visit.

This place is definitely worth the drive to Fate, Texas! The secret is out: they serve real wood-smoked meats cooked to perfection! The brisket is flavorful and tender, just as it should be. It's smoked to perfection, juicy, and the flavor comes from the cooking process rather than relying on a lot of extra ingredients. We had the brisket cheese sandwich, the brisket quesadilla, mac and cheese, and pinto beans—everything was cooked to perfection. Although I'm not usually a fan of spicy pinto beans, these were surprisingly enjoyable. The mac and cheese was deliciously cheesy—we couldn't get enough of it! The portions are generous, so come with a big appetite. The prices are reasonable, and honestly, I expected to pay more. Overall, this was a fantastic surprise, and I plan to return to try everything else on the menu. Just keep in mind that the service isn't fast, so take your time and enjoy the experience as they prepare a delightful meal for you. A Texas-sized salute to this hidden gem!

Make sure to try the burnt ends sandwich! The banana pudding is also excellent.

In my husband's words: this is exactly what I expect from Texas BBQ! He ordered the chopped brisket sandwich, and I had the turkey. Both were delicious. The brisket beans had a nice kick to them, and the mac and cheese was good as well. We’ll definitely have to go back to try more dishes. I'm definitely craving burnt ends for my next visit!

Absolutely AMAZING BBQ! The brisket, turkey, sausage, and ribs are fantastic, and the pork burnt ends are truly out of this world!
