Kims Cones - Fenton

The prices are too high for standard Hershey's ice cream. I can spend a little less and enjoy fantastic homemade ice cream at Uncle Ray's. I won't be returning.

I arrived at their window and rang the bell, but no one came to assist me. My husband had to go into Fenton House, which seems to be a joint business with them. Once inside, he was ignored by the staff until he finally managed to stop a passing server and requested someone for the ice cream window. The server replied that they could send someone over, but after waiting 15 minutes, no one showed up. When someone finally did assist us, I was informed that they were out of more than half their ice cream flavors. We ended up leaving without any ice cream and have no intention of returning, not just to the ice cream window but to Fenton House as well.

It was a lovely day for a stroll and some ice cream—until the thunderstorm hit!
