Thank you for making Fathers Day a really enjoyable experience. From the bar staff to waitresses, they were the right amount of attentive. The kitchen should also be recognised, as the food all came out together, piping hot and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Overall, a really enjoyable experience, we will be back

Fantastic food,very friendly and warm staff, excellent customer service and a wonderful family pub. The manager Frances and her whole team made sure that everything was ok for me and my family, the waitress..Layla was very helpful and happy whilst tending to our table and i sent a personal thank you to Kanye the chef as the meals were cooked exactly as we requested them which wasnt easy as my family are fussy when it comes to steaks! Would highly recommend

Really nice place to eat without booking. The food was excellent and the service was excellent . Very happy staff made all the difference. I had a mixed grill and the wife had a cowboy burger. All very well presented. Definitely be back soon.

It amazes me how places like this exist. I moved into the area last year and had a stroll down to this place for a bite to eat. Ordered chilli nachos from the menu. To call it average would be too kind. That and the fact it was missing several components in the dish didn 't impress me. I 've been going here for drinks throughout the year which is fine. Today I thought I 'd give it a second chance and called to book a table for two for the Sunday roast... The one that 's advertised on the big sign outside. The one that advertises that a large part of their business is providing food on a Sunday. We walked in and after waiting for ten minutes to have our existence acknowledged, after all the Sunday sports team regulars had been served after we walked in, we were told our booking hadn 't been written down. So a table was wiped down for us right next to the sports team. We asked if another table was available... Out of the twenty or so others. Then we said we 'd have a chicken dinner and a beef dinner. As if it were inevitable the person behind the bar came out with 'It 's only food on the menu left... We haven 't got any roast dinners left... '. Apart from learning that a 'roast dinner ' is actually one item of food, as opposed to always thinking it was a collection of freshly cooked items arranged on a plate and served to paying customers, thus ensuring not only the ongoing profits of a business AND guaranteeing repeat custom... We shook our heads and left them to serve their main priority customer base their sugary drinks and crisps. I will never even attempt to eat here again... Not least because they struggle to even remember to buy ingredients to dishes they lure customers in with. In fact, I won 't even ever drink here again. In these times when pubs are struggling to stay alive, it makes me wonder if that 's a bad thing, if this joke of a place is anything to go by. Google allows me to put one star as the lowest, hence the high rating.

We had a lovely evening celebrating my daughters 15th birthday. There was 12 of us altogether and we were made to feel very welcome. The Pure drop was quite busy with a few large parties including ours but that didn't make any difference, the staff were amazing and the food was delicious. Overall there was a great atmosphere and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thanks very much, we will be back.
