Mount Burgess Dining Room Emerald Lake Lodge

Service was great, food was terrible. I have never been to a restaurant of any class where the chefs put a $65 steak back on the grill in pieces if undercooked. This specific to Cilantro on the Lake in which our reservation was transferred. Surprised Emerald Lake management didn’t do more to compensate for the closure of the main lodge by providing a better guest experience for the restaurant that did remain open. Much anticipated trip to this location Very disappointed and will not be back.

Food was absolutely amazing. Kitchen did an amazing job and service was impeccable from the hostess to server meals were very creative. Only thing that wasn’t perfect is due to the baseboard heating it was very hot in the section or seat we were in but that was a minor bump in a fantastic evening

Excellent food in a chic mountain atmosphere. The elk was delicious.
