Sierra - Fish Camp

The dinner menu is significantly lacking for how expensive this place is. I didnt find anything that I wanted, so I just got the nachos and they were alright. The breakfast buffet was ok, your typical continental breakfast for $20 a person. They do have a breakfast menu if you dont want to do the buffet.

We booked 2 days for our anniv but were not told this restaurant was closed. What a disappointment. This restaurant is in the Tenaya zlodge Hotel and was part of what we were looking forward to enjoying. We should have been informed

We had several breakfasts here at the Sierra Restaurant and were pleased with the excellence of service by Rachel, our food quality and taste, and our value for the price. The Eggs Benedict we got, both the Standard and the Crab with Avocado, were outstanding!Service was quick and efficient and friendly. I really appreciated the fresh brewed coffee caraffe left on the table.

Had dinner here this summer with friends, 3 of us and we all loved it because there were lots of options for our dietary preferences. The quality of the food, looks and taste, was top notch. Bill for 3 including 1 alcohol drink, appetizers, entrees and dessert was $200 with tip, so not cheap. Great place for a special occasion, I would go there again for sure. Recommended: Grilled Brussel Sprouts, Gennel Asparagus salads. Chickpea stew, vegetarian chili. And for dessert, the Meyer Lemon Creme Brulee with biscotti and cream was amazing and good for us all to share!

Being stuck in the middle of nowhere limits your food options. For ease of being fed, we ate at this restaurant numerous times during our Yosemite stay just because we were staying at this hotel. I can tell you that each time we ate here, we waited for service and more than once greeted by a server that seemed annoyed that they were assigned our table (once pretty much told this straightaway). When the food came quickly, the server was then nowhere to be seen for long periods of time to provide a check. We also once waited almost 30 min for our breakfast. We waited 20 min for a check. I'm not sure if it's a management issue or they're just understaffed, but if you can make arrangements to eat somewhere else, do it.
