Sushi Village - Fishkill

I got some sushi it was very good, well made and made quickly. Good service

I ordered chicken teriyaki and a Bubble Tea online and got it delivered via Uber Eats. I love the Sushi Village in Poughkeepsie, it’s one of my favorite places for chicken teriyaki so I figured Fishkill wouldn’t be that far off. However, this is the worst chicken teriyaki I’ve ever had. The chicken has a lot of veins and tasted like it was reheated or microwaved. It looks like it was ripped apart it wasn’t even cut properly. $20 after tax for just the chicken alone! I don’t mind spending $20 on chicken if the food is good, but it was terrible. The rice is soggy and mushy like it was cooked too long. I ordered this lunch meal to be delivered because I’m busy at work or I would have taken it back. The only thing I enjoyed was the Bubble Tea which was great. Otherwise, I’m very dissatisfied with my first and last time eating from this restaurant.

It was pretty empty when we came, but honestly it was better than sitting in a packed restaurant. The food was delicious and service was friendly, speedy, and amazing. We were very satisfied with our visit. To top it all off they gave us free ice cream and a discount! For what we aren't sure, but it really made our date night special. We'll definitely be coming back again! Side note, the matcha ice cream they served was by far the best matcha ice cream I've had from ANY place. It was light, and just sweet enough. It was perfect!

Sushi village is a wonderful place to dine in, unfortunatly they dont offer all you can eat as often as they used to, however through speaking with the staff (who are very friendly) at this fine establishment they may or may not be adding ramen to the menu authentic japenese ramen that is, from what we spoke of you should be able to order this ramen within the next month or so.

I'm giving 5 stars to offset the algorithm of the old one star reviewers where their reviews are not accurate anymore (it's not an all you can eat place anymore).I would probably give a 4 star review for better accuracy. The sushi is pretty good. It's not the best in Dutchess county but it's definitely not the worst. I say it's the best in fishkill East fishkill beacon area. It's priced very reasonably, the sushi is always fresh, and it's not sticky fishy. The flavors are awesome. They also have great soups and apps like tempura which are always good. Delivery is really quick and accurate. I get form Grubhub often and never had a wrong order, spill or mess. It also comes in a reasonable time. I would recommend getting take out or delivery. Service is not good and what brings it to a true four star review. You feel a bit rushed for some reason... but the sushi definitely offsets the weirdness.
