Hi Tulip Cafe - Flagler Beach

We had a wonderful brunch at this restaurant. The Crab Benny was delicious, especially with the grilled asparagus on the side. We requested the potatoes to be crispy, but unfortunately, many of them were burnt. Despite this, we still enjoyed our meal overall.

As someone who works in the service industry, I always tip more than 20%. However, I was not given the option to do so when I went to this restaurant for breakfast this morning. The server used a handheld device to process our payment and decided to tip herself 20% without giving me the chance to choose the gratuity amount myself. In my own job, I know that the customer should be handed the device to decide their own tip. I found this behavior to be rude and presumptuous.
