Waffle House - Flat Rock

Ms. Vic, the server, was upbeat and cheery. Everything went well and food was delicious. Our orders were cooked exactly as we asked. Waffles scrumptious, milk was cold, coffee was hot. My son was excited to try his first Waffle house. We are from below Chicago so he hasn't been to one. He was fascinated by the fabled waffle house index.. ? Nothing to complain about here!

Only part of the dining area was open so our party had to ear at the bar. We were wanting to have a decent conversation while we ate but that was impossible. Food was good but service was lacking. Was unsure if drinks were served to correct individuals but left them anyways instead of returning them and pouring them out and reserving. They were incorrect so that lead to an even more disappointing experience.

Crew tonight (7/21/22) was AMAZING! We arrived just before shift changed, approximately 8:50 and the staff stayed, cooked our meal and treated us to delightful conversation and waiting. We?ll definitely be back.

Food is great when they are open but they are not a 24 hour place anymore! We use to come at 5am Monday through Friday but now half the time we never get to eat because the cook don't want to work! I have filed a complaint to corporate but never got a response back.

Sarah was incredible! She took our orders and transformed them into something fantastic. As a waitress, cook, and hostess, she truly excelled. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. I want to thank Sarah for the outstanding meal and wonderful atmosphere! My dining experience exceeded all my expectations, even beyond what I usually enjoy at home!
