Izaak Walton Inn - Flathead County

The food here was amazing!!! The location is very cool and if the rooms are anything like the building it was full of nostalgia and interesting information. Service was equally awesome very kind and gracious. Will go back for sure. Would love to stay hereand explore the area.

This place is beautiful, sat outside with your friends while enjoying your dinner and watching the train goes by, I used to wave at them, the receptionist told us that they were also wave us back and it was fun. I miss my southeast Asian friends, I miss thebilliard in the first ground and the piano which my Singaporean friend used to play Canon instrument, it was so good. I wasimpressed with the notes in the toilet of the hotel, it describe how the importance of the environment. I wish I would be ableto go back but with these friends, Thanks a lot for the services and accommodation.

The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location with nearby hiking trails. The food was excellent, and the service was commendable. Our only slight concern was the lack of an elevator to reach the third floor (or any floor), which made it challenging for my elderly father. Overall, it is not very accessible for those with mobility issues, but it is a wonderful spot for train and nature enthusiasts. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to consider that nighttime trains could be a potential disturbance.

We stopped by the basement bar for a quick bite during our stay in the area. The staff were welcoming and the food was tasty. The walls were adorned with fascinating old railroad memorabilia, making it an intriguing space. We would definitely want to return.

We dined at the Izaak Walton since we were staying at the Stanton Inn. The service was excellent. One evening, we returned late from the park and found the kitchen had just closed, but the staff kindly offered us some soup they had prepared. The dining area has a lovely view of the train tracks, and the kids really enjoyed watching the trains. I do wish they would run the toy train more often in the dining area!
