Primos Cafe Bake Shop - Flowood

One of the best breakfast places I've ever been to. I always have a great time eating with my family here and eating amazing food at the same time. Get up!

This is a great southern cafe and bakery. They have a great shrimp remoulade salad, great plate lunch, and many other tasting offerings. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go for a slice of one of their layer cakes.. Strawberry, Italian cream, coconut..take your pick. They are all made like my momma's! True praise from a southerner.

If you ever get a craving for some great tasting, smooth creamy, true southern grits.....go to Primos! I guarantee you will not be disappointed. All I need is a large bowl of cheese grits, one scrambled egg plus sausage and I'm absolutely satisfied. I believe the Flowood, Jackson surrounding area would agree with me since they're always busy. But they still manage to deliver fast and friendly service with good food which equals a pleasant dining experience! I'm a loyal customer for life.

In town on business and stopped in for lunch. The blue plate special was chicken dumplings so I had it with mac cheese and fried broccoli. Everything was good, especially the mac cheese. It's the kind your mom used to make in the oven. Not the powdered cheese fake stuff. Also, make sure you try their strawberry cake. It's awesome! You put a plate on top of your head with a slice of that on it and your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get to it!
