Cool Breeze Bike Rentals - Folly Beach

If I could give zero stars I would, horrible customer service. The person I spoke with hung up on me.

I called this place a total of 7 times. Left a voicemail. They finally texted me “I have been and will be closed till 10 am tomorrow. I see i had missed many calls .”I only called during open hours. So we showed up around 11 the next day and nobody was there. We called and nobody answered. I texted and nobody answered. Pathetic. Useless. Take your business off of google if you aren’t actually in the business of renting bikes.

Matty’s bikes are the best. Loved riding from one end of Folly to the other. Comfortable, quality and in great shape. Thx Matty

The guy who answered the phone was still DRUNK!! Said never to call him back on a Sunday morning for bikes again it was too early. His store was OPEN!!! Plus I left a message the day before and got no response. I guess they were working on their buzz. Way to run a business!

My wife and I were cycling from James Island to Folly Beach, and my rear wheel was so misalligned that I could barely pedal on flat road. I walked the bike up to shack which houses Cool Breezes, and soon Mike, the owner, showed up. Within 10 minutes he fixed my bike back to tip-top shape. Then Mike shared his VERY inspirational story of healing for him and his beloved dog. And then he shared the hidden gems of Folly Beach which are accessible by only bicycle or foot. Awesome experience with an experienced bike mechanic and Folly native!
