Shogun Sushi Hibachi - Folsom

We have been there at least 10 times just my wife and I and with various relatives and food,service and atmosphere were always great. The steak was not so good way this time too much fat for a prime cut steak and we aren't talking cheap by any means. Just disappointed.Food: 3/5

We went to celebrate my aunt's 50th birthday and we had a lot of fun! We had, by far, the best chef we've ever had at a Hibachi! Bruce was really funny and entertained us the whole time he was there. Would definitely recommend!! Plus, you get to take a fun picture with their Polaroid camera!Food: 5/5

My husband and I ordered the dinner for two option. We chose salmon, rib eye and new york steak. It was my first time at a hibachi restaurant and was not disappointed.We didn't sit by where the chefs were cooking but could watch them from afar and thought they were pretty entertaining to both adults and kids. The food was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers which we enjoyed for lunch the day after. Meat was cooked well to our liking, the salmon was really tasty and the side sauces were a good addition.Service was pretty great as well!?

I ate the Lemon Drop Roll, and it was delicious! Would have been nice to be offered chopsticks. Eating sushi with a fork is weird, but the taste made up for it. The rest of my family got hibachi. It was fun to watch the chef cook. I tried a couple of the shrimp, and they were pretty good. It does get warm in the restaurant sitting in front of the grill with the fire blasts (which are awesome). It's also pretty loud, so you can only talk to people directly next to you without shouting.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is wheelchair accessible. They just move the regular chairs, and the wheelchairs fit under the hibachi table.

In all honesty, like the other review said, the food lacks any flavor at all. I'm wondering if this is a business decision because of the locale it serves. The bottle of Sriracha, which we had to ask for, saved the day, it at least added some flavor. No salt, pepper, chop sticks, seasoning, red pepper flakes, give me something for the price you're charging! I think the only thing the chef used was garlic and oil.Sadly I won't be back.
