King Of Wings

We drove through Louisiana on a road trip and we stopped by Grambling for lunch. The country hot wings were fantastic, and the chicken sandwich was equally good. They had some of the best wings we’ve ever had! Wait time wasn’t too long, considering they likely made everything from scratch. We came during summer vacation so campus was empty and in the restaurant there was only the front cashier and the chef. The cashier/host was on his phone when we came in and took a second to look up to greet us. He also didn’t seem very enthusiastic. I see some of the recent reviews addressing the worker’s attitude, which wasn’t a big problem but certainly could have been more welcoming. The chef did ask us how we liked the food and was happy to hear we enjoyed it, which we took to mean that he cared about his craft. Parking: There weren’t many parking spaces since it shared the parking lot with several other businesses.
