Ali Fried Chicken - Forest Grove

I’ve came to this spot a couple of times for their wings. The first couple of times they were perfect. Still to this day the fries, the Buffalo sauce, the ranch is all perfect. However, recently my last couple visits the wings are a bit soggy and lack some crisp. Again, everything else is perfect, but the wings do need to be more fried/crispy, or at least have an option to chose how we want our wings cooked.

I decided to give this cart a try after seeing others eating this food and recommendation from my neighbor. I decided to try the Honey Butter Chicken sandwich because it sounded great. Overall, it was ok for me, but missed a bit on my expectation. First, when I opened it, it seemed a bit oily from the sauce and was messy to eat. Taste wise it was good, but I was surprised that it was thigh meat. Nothing wrong with that, but I kind of expected breast meat so my expectation colored my view of the meal. The size of the meal was substantial and I couldn't finish all the fries. My biggest gripe is there are no prices listed anywhere. I get inflation an all and the quality and quantity justifies the $16 I paid, but a customer should know the prices before ordering.I plan to try again with a different sandwich, maybe the original next time.

By far the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. Great smoke on the meat with a generous portion of slaw and house dressing on the most perfectly delicious toasted bread. I will be back for this again without a doubt. Customer service was excellent as well, the young lady was open about the menu and answered all my questions in great depth. Ali seems like a great guy; my friend and I had a great conversation with him after our meal in regards to his menu and that of the ice cream/Sherbet truck next door which he also owns. Great people great food and excellent customer service here!
